About QuickTimeCard
QuickTimeCard is a set of free calculators for one everyday job: adding up the hours on a time card. Enter when you started, when you stopped and how long your breaks were, and it gives you the total hours, the decimal hours your payroll needs and, if you add a rate, your pay with overtime.
Why we built it
Most time card calculators online were built years ago. They are hard to use on a phone, hide the tool under ads, or ask you to sign up before you can add up a week. We wanted one that opens fast on any phone, needs no account and gets the tricky cases right.
What it handles
- Unpaid breaks and lunch, subtracted from each day.
- Overnight shifts that start before midnight and end after it.
- One or two weeks, with overtime counted per workweek as the US Fair Labor Standards Act requires, not across the whole pay period.
- Rounding to 5, 6 or 15 minutes, a common payroll practice.
- Decimal hours, because payroll systems want 7.75, not 7:45.
- State overtime rules on separate pages, including daily overtime in California, Alaska, Colorado and Nevada.

Who makes it
QuickTimeCard is made by Faven Games, a small independent software studio that also makes daily puzzle games. The calculators are a helper for checking your hours. They are not payroll software or legal advice, and for disputes about pay your employer's records and your state's labor department have the final word.
